Dear Pioneer Park Elementary Families,
\r\nMy name is Cheyenne Short, and I am delighted to be a part of the Pioneer Park Elementary School family and serve as your principal. My passion is education, and I have had the opportunity to serve Oklahoma students in several capacities; as a paraprofessional, elementary teacher, and, most recently, as the Director of English Language Arts Assessments at the state department.
\r\nIn addition to my professional achievements, my greatest accomplishment is my family. I am married to my best friend, Jarrod, with whom I share three amazing boys, Boston (14), Reid (10), and Deacon (7). As a parent, I always want what is best for my children and will work tirelessly to ensure that your children have the best possible experience at Pioneer Park.
\r\nThroughout this summer, I plan to learn more about our school, community, and the unique needs of our students and staff. I am committed to embracing the positive traditions and practices already in place at Pioneer Park while working diligently to ensure success in the future. I believe all children should receive an exemplary education in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. Together we can help our children excel and provide them with an education that is second to none.
\r\nI am honored and humbled to serve as the new principal of Pioneer Park Elementary, and I look forward to meeting our children, teachers, parents, and community members. My door is always open, and I sincerely welcome your input and support. I am excited about all we will accomplish together for our children and look forward to celebrating our collective success this school year.
